Are you renting out your vacation in Puerto Vallarta? Are you vacationing with us as a guest? At Samson Waters, we love to take care of you and that means giving you more information about the area. Josh and the Samson Waters Team in Puerto Vallarta thought it would be a good idea share their TOP 3 BEACHES IN PUERTO VALLARTA. Boy oh boy do we agree!!

  1. Playa Los Muertos, Puerto Vallarta

The beach everyone stays in the Romantic Zone for! 2 KMs of brown sugar sand lined with beach clubs and restaurants! Photo ops like the world Famous Puerto Vallarta Pier and the Seahorse statue mark either end of the stretch of beach where you can swim, drink, eat, dance, make friends, and people watch. Sapphire, Blue Chairs, Ritmos Cafe (Green Chairs), and Mantamar are some of the main attractions of this beach for the LGBTQ community, of course all are welcome!

  1. Colomitos Cove, Puerto Vallarta

About a 30 minute drive to the south is the town of Boca de Tomatlan, the beach and river mouth into the Bay of Banderas and also the startof a beautiful coastal hike that can take you to the amazing beach at Colomitos Cove, fed by a small waterfall this spot is a favorite for local sand travelers alike. The water here is much clearer and often warmer than the city beaches.

  1. Playa Las Animas & Quimixto, Puerto Vallarta

The more adventurous hiker can continue along the coast to reach the farther south beaches – Las Animas and Quimixto. Both beaches feature miles of sand and great local restaurants for drinks and seafood pulled right from the Bay of Banderas in front of you!. A truly tropical sight to see and experience. Both spots have options to take water taxis back to Boca or the Pier on Los Muertos in the Romantic Zone. Check out the nearby waterfalls!

Samon Waters in Puerto Vallarta could not resists to give you an extra bonus tip: Yalepa. If you want to escape the city for a day or a couple take a water taxi to Yalepa! A beautiful little town on the south shore of the bay. Featuring warm clear water and an amazing beach, the brightly painted homes along the coast and great restaurants make for an amazing view. Ride a donkey up to the Yalepa Waterfall and swimming pond! There are two piers at either end of town with water taxis.

Thank Josh and the team of Samson Waters Puerto Vallarta for sharing your top 3 of the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Enjoy the beach!
